Arthritis is a much common problem today and many people are suffering from the issue. This is actually a musculoskeletal issue that is associated with our joints. It makes the joints stiff, painful and swollen. It can be experienced by anyone and at any age. It was only the problem for the old people in the old days.

There are many types of arthritis. In fact, there are near hundred types of the issue. But the most commonly known and diagnosed types are rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, and osteoarthritis. These types of joint pain take away the mobility of a person.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a condition of inflammation of the synovium membrane. It supports joints. Joint support is important to get back your mobility. You may find the issue mostly among the women ages 40 and up.

Gouty arthritis also can affects men or women at the age of 30 to 50. The reason for the pain is commonly is an accumulation of uric acid crystals inside our joint cavity.

Most of the people suffer from Osteoarthritis. Women and men both can suffer from the issue. The key reason for Osteoarthritis is the wear and tear on the cartilage of our weight-bearing joints. This type of arthritis is more common among people at the age of fifty and above.


Symptoms of different types of arthritis may vary and it also varies person to person. But the main or signature symptoms are usually the same, pain and inflammation.

A person with rheumatoid arthritis can also expect to get swelling on multiple joints on both sides of our body.

For gouty arthritis, a sudden onset of severe burning pain and inflammation of wrist and big toe can be an alarming symptom. Other symptoms of arthritis may include stiffness on the knees, fingers, feet, hips etc.

The major symptom of arthritis that most of the people face is joint pain. In a young age, it may come and go but become more constant with the growing age.


This is really difficult to point out any one reason for it. There are many factors that can cause an initial or severe problem on the joints. There can be a defective gene that can cause the cartilage production, weight issues, extremely hard work, age or lack of calcium in the body etc.


There is no specific solution to it. You can try yoga, physiotherapy, light and proper exercise, using herbal oil for message etc. There few medications available also there but there are not very safe on the human body. Finally, many people go for knee replacement or other surgery just to get relief from the immense pain.
