Types of Diabetes

Diabetes is common in many people. Many years ago, no one knew about this disease, but it became very popular since the 21st century, because it is the most powerful epidemic today. Next I will tell you more about this disease.

What is the diabetes?

It is known as diabetes, and is noted by the presence of too much sugar in the blood. It is acquired through what we eat, and is controlled by insulin. It is a hormone produced in the pancreas, which ensures that the body uses it as the body’s main source of energy.

Diabetes Knows the Different Types and How to Solve It

When we suffer from this disease, the body no longer produces enough insulin, and the blood glucose stays in the blood and does not reach the cells, causing serious health problems.

This disease affects: kidneys, vision, stroke, nervous system damage, dental problems, heart disease, etc.

Diabetes symptoms. This disease is of several types and manifests itself differently. Type 1 diabetes appears very quickly, usually within a few weeks. The type 2 is very difficult, usually in a few years, so patients do not even realize that they suffer from this disease.

  1. Diabetes has the following symptoms:
    1. thirst for water and appetite for food increases
    2. vision problems, although you do not need glasses
    3. weight loss for no reason
    4. cushion your hands and feet
    5. the wounds heal very hard

Types of diabetes

  • Diabetes type 1. It is also known as dependent or juvenile insulin, as it is commonly found in children or people up to 25 years of age, although it can occur at any age. In this type of diabetes, the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin. This disease causes pancreatic beta-cell injury by excess glucose remaining in the blood. This type of disease is triggered by viruses.
  • Diabetes type 2. It occurs when the body no longer produces insulin or the cells can no longer use it. This type of diabetes is most commonly seen in people who do not do much physical movement, overweight. Overweight people suffer from this disease because the extra weight can cause insulin resistance. It can also be inherited from parents, grandparents, etc.
  • Gestational diabetes. In most cases, this type of diabetes occurs in women, when they are pregnant, because then the cells can no longer respond to insulin, causing hormonal changes typical of this stage, and glucose remains stagnant in the blood. Often, when this problem begins to occur, the pancreas is responsible for producing more insulin, so that the process can be resumed without complications, but some women simply cannot, and then gestational diabetes appears.

Medicines

In some cases, these drugs affect beta cells or may alter the functioning of insulin. These are: diuretic, psychic drugs, strains for HIV, etc. Usually, this disease is not discovered in time. It also occurs when it is very advanced and can produce other diseases.
